Fayose Corruption Case has not been Dropped – EFCC

Ayo Fayose Ekiti
Despite being declared winner of the Ekiti State governorship election, Ayo Fayose reportedly still has a case to answer with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The EFCC is refuting media reports that declared the case was dismissed, according to Punch.
The agency stated “that election of Fayose has not affected the ongoing trial of the governor-elect at the Federal High Court, Ado-Ekiti, for alleged corruption.”
Court hearings for the case will begin on July 15.
