May Day Tragedy: Another Bomb Blast Rock Abuja
Another explosion yesterday rocked Nyanya, on the outskirt of the Federal Capital, Abuja.
The explosion is the second incident in the area since the April 14 explosion which killed at least 75 people and injured more than 200.
Eyewitnesses at the scene told newsmen that the explosion, which happened few metres away from the last one, took place at around 8 p.m.
Witnesses reported seeing at least ten dead bodies although there is no official confirmation of the casualty figure.
Security operatives and para military officials have cordoned off the area as many commuters were left stranded.
Hundreds of people, who besieged the scene, were kept at bay by gun-toting soldiers while shops and other businesses around the area have been closed down.
Meanwhile, traffic from the city going into Nyanya had been diverted while those coming in from Keffi were blocked.
