VIDEO: Crazy preacher makes people eat grass so they can get 'closer to God'

A CONTROVERSIAL preacher has been recorded making his congregation eat grass so they can be "closer to God" before walking on them.
Pastor Lesego Daniel of Rabboni Centre Ministries in Garankuwa, north of the South African capital of Pretoria, regularly makes his followers drop to the floor and tuck into the grass like cows.
His methods have been heavily criticised but members of his flock swear by them.
Pastor Daniel claims humans can eat anything to feed their bodies and survive on whatever they choose to eat.
"Yes, we eat grass and we're proud of it because it demonstrates that, with God's power, we can do anything," congregation member Rosemary Phetha told Times Live.

The 21-year-old student told how she had battled a sore throat for over a year but after chomping down on some grass she was all better.
Doreen Kgatle, 27, of Ga-rankuwa, claims the grass diet has also healed her after she suffered a stroke two years ago.
"I could not walk but soon after eating the grass, as the pastor had ordered, I started gaining strength and an hour later I could walk again," she said.
However while some swear by the unusual methods, others are less impressed.
Photos of men and women running to the bathroom and violently being sick can be seen on the centre's Facebook page.
"Why is he stepping on people? This is inhumane. Shocking," read one outraged comment.
