Security meeting ends; GEJ asks security chiefs to go after missing girls
The extraordinary National Security Council meeting convened today by President Jonathan has ended with all members calling on all Nigerians to be security concious at all times saying security matter is one that concerns everyone.
The council advocated for religious tolerance amongst all citizens and asked spiritual leaders to spread the gospel of practicing the various faiths without any form of acrimony.
They challenged the various security agents to be more professional in their duties and also gave a marching order to the security forces to go in search of the missing girls abducted from Chibok Borno state on April 14.
The council also resolved to domesticate the activities of herdsmen so they can carry out grazing activities within a particular region. This is in a bid to stem the recent tide of herdsmen menace also being experienced.
